He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamil Samuel Millsaps and Minnie Lee Patterson Millsaps; his son David Michael Millsaps; and his siblings, Mary Ann Collis (Glen Collis), Hamil Millsaps, Jr. (Katherine) and Jimmy Millsaps.
He is survived by: his children, Marlene Hicks (Malcolm) of Ellijay, GA, Jon Millsaps (Jody) of Blue Ridge, GA, Willie Waldman, Justin Waldman (Hannah) and Amanda Hale (Josh); his grandchildren, David Hicks (Emily), Daniel Hicks (Jordan), Dylan Hicks (Catie), Julia Kratz (Judah), Amber Price (Eddie), Josie Bowers (Ryan), Matthew Holtslander, Bailee Holtslander, Scott Trask, Jathan Waldman and Kylie Thurman; his great grandchildren, Jackson Hicks, Ama Hicks, Wilder Hicks, Hazel Hicks, Sawyer Hicks, Arianna Hicks, Ann-Eliese Hicks, Liam Hicks, Graydon Hicks, Everly Hicks, Samuel Hicks, Jayden Price, Zoey Price, Kimberly Price, Lincoln Bowers, Ace Bowers and Kyler McCue; his siblings, Ruby Barker (Hubert), Jerry Millsaps (Earlene) and Jesse Millsaps (Brenda); his sister-in-law Ann Millsaps; and his mother-in-law Shirley Phillips. He is also survived by relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
