She was predeceased by: her husband John S. Thomas; her sister Betty (Christian); her brother-in-law Marvin Godfrey of McCaysville, GA.; and her parents, Cecil Thomas and Willa Mae Thomas.
She is survived by: her son Ron; her daughter-in-law Debbie of Rocky Mount; her grandsons, Bryan (Kimberly) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Erik (Kelci) of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Brooks, Brody, Baylor (Bryan) and Sarah (Erik). She is also survived by her five nieces and nephews.
