He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Young and Jesse Ponder Young; his son Russell Thomas Young; and his siblings, Harlow Young, Marion Young, Garvin Young (Peewee), Cleo McDaniel, Marge Vick and Geneva Weaver.

He is survived by: his wife Debra Young; his children, Paul Duane Young (Jonnie), Mark Young (Angie) and Marcee Young; his daughter-in-law Belinda Young; his grandchildren, Christopher Michael Young, Jonathan Paul Young (Katie), Andrew Stephen Young, Caleb Joshua Young, Angelina Rose Underwood (Jade), Amy Justine Young and Elisha Joseph Young (Kaitlin); and his great grandchildren, Kristina Young, Russell Young, Jensen Young, Judah Paul Young, Benjamin Young and Maggie Young. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
