He is survived by: his daughter Gina Shanta Penwell of Blue Ridge, Georgia; his grandchildren, Greyson Penwell of Blue Ridge, Georgia, Kolton Penwell of Blue Ridge, Georgia and Dakota Wright of Blue Ridge, Georgia; and his sister Barbara Penwell of McCaysville, Georgia. He is also survived by other extended family members and many dear friends.
