He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Sweet Whittaker. He is survived by: his wife Louiza Green Whittaker; his children, John Matthew Whittaker (Diane), Ann Marie Whittaker, Mary W. Farmer and Diana W. Stamps; his stepdaughter Amanda Moody (Wade); and his siblings, Marsha W. Choffee', John P. Whittaker, Paul Whittaker, Dwayne Whittaker and Douglas Whittaker. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cherry Log Craddock Center.
