He was predeceased by: his parents, James Abercrombie and Lucretia Abercrombie; and his sister Goldie Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Mark Abercrombie (Carrie), Roxanne Baird (Martin) and Heath Abercrombie (Tammy); and his siblings, Bobby Joe Abercrombie (Eula Mae Elrod), Bo Abercrombie (Loretta) and Kathy Smith (Carrol). He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
