She was predeceased by: her parents, James McVey and Hattie Richards McVey; and her sister Elizabeth White. She is survived by: her husband John Haney; her daughters, Barbra Villona and Jennifer Haney; her grandchildren, Damon, Donovin, Dakota, Mika, Maia and Japa; her great grandchildren, Paisley, Gideon and Natalie; her sister Ruth Ann Shirley; her niece Sarah Miller; and her great-nieces, Audrey and Erin.
