She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Cox; her children, Jody Cox (Jenny) and Jason Cox (Holly) of Blue Ridge, Georgia; her grandchildren, Caleb Cox, Rachel Cox, Lauren Cox, Jamison Cox, Hannah Cox and Cassidy Cox; and her siblings, Vic Payne, Judy McKeral (Jay) of Hiawassee, GA, Ivan Payne of Ellijay, GA, Loretta Payne and Carol Nichols (Bron) of Ellijay, GA..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
