He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Kimmel and Emily Read Kimmel; and his sister Nancy Kimmel Duncan. He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Kimmel of Fuentes; his son-in-law Jesus Rafael Fuentes; his daughter Isabel; his son-in-law Carmine Deluca; his close friend Marilyn Williamson; his brother Leigh "Nick"; his sister-in-law Kitty Lou Kimmel; and his grandchildren, Emilia Fuentes, Thomas Fuentes, Giovanni Deluca and Alessio Deluca. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
