He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Twitty and Carrie Gilbert Twitty; his siblings, Geneva Holbrook and Jack Twitty; his grandson Corey Martin; and his son-in-law Michael Bland.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Radford Twitty of Blue Ridge; his children, Brenda Twitty of Dahlonega, George Twitty (Susan) of Hoschton, John Twitty (Maria) of Winder and Daniel Twitty of Blue Ridge; his brother Frank Twitty (Nancy) of Alpharetta; his grandchildren, Wesley Martin, Keri Walker, Megan Pratt, William, Miranda, Michael, Jay, Rebecca, Madison, Micah and Isabelle Twitty; and his great grandchildren, Sarah Martin, Liam Twitty-Day, Charlotte Pratt and Graham Twitty-Day. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
