She was predeceased by: her husband Joe; her grandson William Tinsley Ellis, III; and her siblings, Sarah Harrison, Othelle Blair, Katherine Williamson and Robert Kelley (Sonny Alford).
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Davis McKenzie (Ken) of Blue Ridge, GA and Kelly Davis Ellis (Tinsley) of Atlanta, GA.; her grandchildren, Kenneth B. McKenzie, IV (Mac), Ian Davis McKenzie (Destiny) and Marcella Geneva Ellis (Genny); and her sisters, LaRue Alford and Annette White.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be given to the American Cancer Society.
