She was predeceased by: her parents, Willia Asa Taylor and Nora Mae Howze Taylor; her sons, Rodney Eugene Hughes and Donald George Hughes; her siblings, Joseph David Taylor, Jesse Asa Taylor, Noah Taylor, Sr. and Estelena Howard; and her grandson Andrew Bolton.
She is survived by: her sisters, Concelia Evelyn Taylor and Loudell Eidson; her children, Teri Hughes Durden French of Bluffton, SC, Fred Michael Hughes of Ridgeland, SC, Amanda Barry Bolton (Mike McCain) and Terry Tyrone Barry, Jr. (Patricia Lynn); and her grandchildren, Melanie Morrison (Brian), Daphne Paige Linton, Brett Thomas Bolton (Sarah), Erin Amanda Bolton and Tyler Hans Barry (Rachel). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
