She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Charles Shepherd; and her father Everette Lee Gay. She is survived by: her children, Hilarie Shepherd and Derrick Shepherd (Kara Shepherd); her mother Julia Nell Gay; her siblings, Donna Gay, Sylvia Lanpolsaen (Pi Lanpolsaen) and Randy Gay; and her grandchildren, Addison, Ethan and Abigail Shepherd. She is also survived by her children, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Liberty Grove Baptist Church (1676 Liberty Grove Church Rd, Wrightsville, GA 31096). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025.
