He was predeceased by : his parents, Merle Lendon and Elizabeth Lendon (Shepherd); and his brother Ken Lendon. He is survived by : his daughters, Jennifer Johnston (Stephen), Melissa Lendon (Brian) and Desiree Lendon; his grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Jared, Emma, Kaylee, Cody and Lyam; and his siblings, David Lendon (Phyllis) and Cheryl Fowler.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel (2932 US Hwy 41, Fort Valley, GA 31030).
