He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Garrett and Sarah Garrett (Hailey); his wife Deanna Garrett (Nelson); and his sister Faye Moulton. He is survived by: his children, Susan Thompson of Bonaire, GA, Kimberly Noles of Bonaire, GA and Dennis Garrett (Evelyn) of Kathleen, GA; his stepchildren, Tim Eckles of Perry, GA and Karmen Eckles of Perry, GA.; his grandchildren, Aubree Thompson, Jeorge Ann Carter of Dennis, Garrett, Jr. and Dillon Garrett; his great grandchildren, Reganne Carter and Corbin Carter; and his brother Darrell Garrett of Charleston, SC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
