He is survived by : his wife Ruth Lee Kiessling Carter; his daughter Tiffany Lynette Carter Faulk (Daniel); his grandchildren, Kyle Haney, Daniel Faulk, Jr. and Nathan Faulk; and his siblings, Robyn Carter and Donald Carter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Warner Robins (1135 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, GA 31093).
