He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Greene Bruce and Mary Ruth Swift Bruce; and his wife Marian Terrell Bruce. He is survived by: his daughter Beth Sweeny (Mark Sweeny) of Boston; his siblings, Sara Jackson of Boston, Mike Bruce (Chuck Presti) of Pensacola and Al Bruce of Savannah; and his grandson Cole Bruce of Thomasville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
