She was predeceased by: her father Henry Garfield Whitman; and her parents-in-law, Richard and Annita Harris. She is survived by: her mother Mildred Benefield Whitman; her husband Ralph Harris; her children, Toby Sharpton (Tara), Tighe Sharpton (Amber), Tatum Sharpton (Stephanie) and Tania Sharpton (Ben Clark); and her siblings, Gail Hendrix (Gerald), Joan Moses and Marlin Whitman (Vanessa). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mountain View Baptist Church (1928 High Point Rd, Bowdon, GA 30108).
