He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Barnett Lloyd and Mary Lucy Lloyd. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Arthur Lloyd; his daughter Connie; his son-in-law Neal Hannah; his grandchildren, Lillian and Brody Hannah; his sister Becky; his brother-in-law James Dawson; his cousins, Vickie Royal, Adam Singleton, Henry Hammock and Wayne Cato; his in-laws, Ricky Arthur (Kelly Strickland), Debbie and Mike Knowles; and his friend Sandy Jones. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (31 Antioch Church Rd, Carrollton, GA 30117).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carroll County Animal Shelter in David's memory.
