He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dillard Wood, Sr. and I. V. Wood. He is survived by: his wife Joan Williamson; his children, Shelly Wood Guerrero (Nick) of Atlanta and Chad Wood (Tammy) of Bowdon; his grandchildren, Morgan Cole (Devin), Kirby Johnson (Josh), Gabe Guerrero and Charli Wood; his siblings, Sara Milicki and Robert Wood; and his nephews, Patrick Denney, Joe Gary, Robert Gary, Richard Gary, Tommy Gary and Lee Gary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bowdon Athletic Booster Club to support the high school golf team, reflecting Dillard's lifelong love of sports.
