He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Clarence Turner and Nellie Kate Hudgins Turner; and his siblings, Olin "Donkey" Turner, Jr., Ray Turner, Forrest Turner and Maver "Sissy" Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Jared Matthew Turner (Melaney) of Carrollton, Jennifer Megan Turner of Carrollton and Joshua Mac Turner of Huntsville, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Matthew James Turner, Grace Turner and Jacob Mac Turner; his fiancée Sue Clark; and his former wife Jane Johnson.
