He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Boykin and Mary Boykin; his wife Billie Ann Buchanan; and his son Buchanan, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Tillman (Walter); and his grandsons, Jonathan Buchanan (Jennifer) and Vincent Tillman. He is also survived by family members and friends.
