She was predeceased by: her parents, Birt Calhoun and Alma Singleton Calhoun; her husbands, James C. Gentry and Ray L. Arthur; her siblings, Jack Calhoun and Jane Whaley; her children-in-law, Wayne Browning, Bill Hicks and Brenda Arthur; and her grandson Matt Arthur.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sue Ann Browning and Kay Hicks; her siblings, Charles Calhoun and Jenny Watts; her grandchildren, Zach Hicks (Christina), Morgan Bennet (Jeff) and David Arthur (Krista); her great grandchildren, Emily, Austin Hicks, Aubree, Logan Bennett, Mason Arthur (Huntir) and Cole Arthur; her great great grandchildren, Boomer and Georgia Arthur; and her cousin Peggy Phillips. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
