With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Obbie Jean Deese of Bowdon, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Robinson and I. V. Abercrombie Robinson; and her husband Jerry Arthur Deese. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Wade Deese (Jenny), Barry Joe Deese (Anita) and Regina Lynn Jarrell (Tracy); and her grandchildren, Gilland Wade Deese, Carrie Lee Deese McEwen, Kylie Alyssia Deese, Ashlynn Shae Deese Eison, AnnaLeah Charlie Deese Casaburri, Mickah Ross Jarrell and Megan Lynn Jarrell Joyner. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
