With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion E. Mead of Bowersville, Georgia, born in Norwalk, Connecticut, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marion E. Mead to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Smith and Hazel Ferris Smith; and her brother Robert "Chopper" Smith. She is survived by: her husband John S. Mead; her sons, Jim Mead (Missy) of Mt. Holly, NJ and Wayne Mead (Laura) of Bowersville; and her siblings, Harvey Smith of Norwalk, CT, Jane Lemmon of Monroe, NC and Carolyn Byxbee of Bantam, CT. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
