He was predeceased by : his parents, Mildred King Campbell and Alfred "Scooter" J. Campbell, Sr. of Decatur; his parents-in-law, Dean and Earl Carson of Oneida, TN; and his niece Amy Carson Henry of Oneida, TN..
He is survived by : his wife Charlotte Carson Campbell; his sons, Ryan Shoemaker of Oneida, TN and Christopher Campbell (Carisa); his grandchild Brantley Campbell of Virginia Beach, VA.; and his nieces and nephews, Kristen Comer Chase (Jonathan), John Comer, III, Hannah Comer, Rebecca Cantrell Hanik, Eric Cantrell, Adrian Stonecipher (Leandra), Joni Stonecipher Byrd (Wade) and Logan Stonecipher (Chelsea).
