She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Corn and Marian Corn of Decatur, Georgia.; her sister Melody Corn Sweeney; her brother-in-law Russ Ryals; her great-aunt Gwendolyn Owens; her uncle Hugh Welch; her grandparents, Vonnie and Ollie Welch; and her nephew Lenny Slappey.

She is survived by: her children, Cheri Rubio (Andres Rubio), Bethany Slappey (Andrew Torres), Meghan Slappey and Nick Slappey (Rylee Slappey); her grandchildren, Kendall, Walker, Adriana, Vedah, Drew, Declan, Hadlee and Blakely; her husband Wayne Slappey; her siblings, Debbie Ryals, Rick Corn (Lilly Corn) and Amy Corn; her siblings-in-law, Peggy, Tommy Slappey, Charles Slappey, Roy Slappey, Kathy Brown, Vicki Holloman Carter and Gail Authement; her nieces and nephews, Chris Ryals, Matthew Corn, Renee Bates, Glen Slappey, John Slappey (Julie) and David Slappey; her aunt Carolyn; and her uncle Lenard Lockhart. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

An after-service reception will be held nearby by RSVP only due to limited space.
