She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Carlton Stancil; her parents, Waymon Crowe and Velma Grant Crowe; and her siblings, Manning, Gerald, Bruce and Levoy Crowe.

She is survived by: her children, Chuck Caldwell (Donna) of Jefferson, Tammy Sweat (Larry) of Braselton and Larry Paul Stancil of Jefferson; her siblings, Kaye Simmons of Jefferson and Dale Crowe of Winder; her grandchildren, Kari Mathis (Zack), Taylor Oertley (Jacob), Sarah Cannon (Hunter), Destiny Timms (Wyatt) and Chelsea Rae Stancil; and her great grandchildren, Emma Jade Mathis, Liam McClane Mathis, Braxton Worley, Breydon Sweat, Charleigh Jo Sweat and Stetson Timms.

Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to the Hospice of Northeast Georgia for the loving care that was provided to Mrs. Shelby.
