She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Carl Gordon and Lois Mildred Eady Gordon; her former husband Jimmy "Pete" Folsom; her children, Debra Brown, Donna McCain and Kenneth Folsom of Bryson City, NC; and her siblings, Millie Kinney, Mary Agan, Ruby Dobbs, Joseph Carl Gordon, Jr., Charles Gordon and Robert Gordon.

She is survived by: her husband Nevin Mowery of Bremen; her daughters, Arlene Coggins (Boyd) of Tallapoosa and Angela Cox of Bremen; and her brother Weyman Gordon. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel (71 Park Heights St, Buchanan, GA 30113). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
