With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Sue McElwee of Bremen, Georgia, born in Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on January 18, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Dell Bishop; her husband Randy McElwee; and her sister Janice Horn. She is survived by: her mother Helen Bishop of Bremen; her son Chad; her daughter-in-law Lynn McElwee of Bremen; her grandchildren, Lauren King (Kyle) of Bremen, Bryce McElwee (Briana) of Bremen, Kobe McElwee of Douglasville, Cason McElwee of Bremen, Joshua Jefferson (Logan) of Rome and Olivia Jefferson of Bremen; her great grandchildren, Canyon Jefferson of Rome and Rhodes Jefferson of Rome; and her brother-in-law Brian Horn of North Carolina. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Barbara be made to the Young's Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 2255 Antioch Rd, Cedartown, GA 30125.
