She was predeceased by : her husband Perry Gillis; her daughter Gracen Goodnight; and her grandparents, C. A., Rose Barfield and Betty Puckett.

She is survived by : her children, Julie Ryll (Jason Clure) and J. P. Gillis; her grandchild Clure; and her siblings, Emily Griesback (Christopher) and Ethan Rogers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
