He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ross Major, Sr. and Mary Ailene Bowman Major; and his sister Frances Motes. He is survived by: his wife Toni Mitchell Major; his children, Scott Lee Major of Jefferson, Melissa Lynn Reeves of Tallapoosa, Tracie Ann Reid of Bethlehem and Kenny Major of Jefferson; his siblings, Joyce Strickland, Leon Major and Jerry Major; and his grandchildren, Shanna Singleton (Dillion), Brittany Curtis, Kacy Curtis and Mitchell Reeves (Nicki). He is also survived by grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
