She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Bivins and Etta Farrow Bivins; her husband Buck Jackson; her former husband Jessie Edwin "Rip" Adams; her grandson Jimmy Smith; and her brothers, Harold Bivins, Curtis Bivins and Theron Bivins.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Adams Smith (Larry) of Bowdon and Larry Jackson (Cricket) of Buchanan; her sisters, Zelma Hudson of Mt Zion and Carolyn Deering (Johnny) of Temple; and her grandchildren, Tammie Harper (Craig), LeAnne Liner (Billy), Kristy Smith, Kerry Smith and Tracey Smith. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
