He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Owen Swarts; his daughter Kelisha Eason Disharoon of Bremen; his siblings, Susan Swarts of Washington and Keith Swarts; and his grandchildren, Jeramie Swarts, Jaxson Swarts, Payton Swarts, Austin Quillen, Jaden Disharoon, Cierra Quillen, Josie Henry and Summer Eason. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a covered dish that was Dan's favorite.
