Though Glenda Akers may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Glenda Akers leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Akers and Myrtle Bradley Akers; and her brother Nammon Akers. She is survived by: her siblings, Medra Morgan (Rex) of Carrollton, Melba Akers of Graham, AL, Nelda Langley of Carrollton, Winton Akers (Judy) of Carrollton and Waymon Akers (Linda) of Newnan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church (3457 US-27, Carrollton, GA 30117).
