He is survived by: his wife Deborah Lewis Whitton; his children, Bobby Whitton (Eloise) of Tallapoosa and April Freeman (Timothy) of Bremen; and his sister Betty Faye Alexander of Austell. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild.
