He is survived by: his children, Dr. Terry Thompson of Statesboro, Garbo Thompson (Lynn) of Hiram, Birch Thompson (Tammy) of Fruithurst, AL, Dawn Stephens (Kevin) of Jake and Tim Thompson (Tammy) of Jake; his grandchildren, Maci, Hogan Thompson, Asa, Jonah and Miriam Stephens; and his great grandchild Arlo Thompson.
