With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Homer Oswald Shadrix of Bremen, Georgia, born in Carrollton, Georgia, who passed away on August 9, 2023 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Homer Oswald Shadrix to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Shadrix and Vera Parrish Shadrix; his wife Beulah Jane Bentley Shadrix; and his siblings, Delores Nalley, Norma Jean Bonner, William K. Shadrix, Thomas Shadrix, Render Shadrix and Wayne Shadrix.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sue (Steve Griffith) and Kim (Scott Stanford); and his sister Mary Ann (Billy Nichols). He is also survived by four grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to the Trout Rodeo at Smith Farm and to be mailed to Haralson County Wildlife Association at 152 Oak Circle, Buchanan, Georgia 30113.
