He was predeceased by: his father James Vermon Higgins (Charles Davis "Toots"); his wife Sandra Crawford Higgins; his brother Charles Higgins; and his brother-in-law Jackie Crawford. He is survived by: his son Dave Higgins of Carrollton; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Higgins of Lineville, AL and Pam Dunn (Clark) of Holly Springs; and his nieces and nephews, Margaret Higgins Pendley (Tandy) of Powder Springs, Ed Higgins of Ashland, Tommy Crawford (Tonya) of Waco and Hannah Murphy of Canton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church, 331 Pacific Ave, Bremen, GA 30110.
