As we bid Janelle farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Janelle is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Emory Pollard and Annice Era "McEwen" Pollard; and her sisters, Myrl of Marie, I. V. and Louise. She is survived by: her husband James D. Rogers, Sr.; and her children, Jimmy Rogers (Lynn), Ellen Hope (Bob), Johnny Rogers and Leigh Spooner. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hightower Funeral Home (318 Gordon St, Bremen, GA 30110). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Janelle's honor to Bethlehem Church, the Bremen City Library, or Tanner Hospice.
