He was predeceased by: his father Henry Jerrell; and his wife Peggy Sue Tillman Hamil. He is survived by: his children, Susan of Bremen, Donnie Arp of Bremen, Tracey of Bremen, Mike McClure of Bremen, Lisa of Bremen and Fred Roberts of Bremen; his grandchildren, Shane, Michelle Arp of Rome, Shannon, James Pack of Newnan, Matthew, Bonnie McClure of Bremen, Andrew, Annie McClure of Richmond Hill, Trent, Abby McClure of Cumming, Trevor Roberts of Bremen and Ashton Roberts of Bremen; and his great grandchildren, Kelsey, Kolby Arp of Rome, Kylie, Carson, Kinley, Connor Pack of Newnan, Micah, Harlan McClure of Bremen, Josiah, Hudson, Emersyn and Denver McClure of Richmond Hill.
