He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Womack and Susie Griffeth Womack; and his siblings, Jeanette Benson, Jackie Womack, Brenda Womack, Gloria Smith, Grady Womack, Jr. and Preston Womack.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith Womack; his children, Shane Womack (Mekia) of Woodland, AL and Shannon Womack Shead (Scott) of Roopville, GA; his sister Mary Sue Woodall of Mableton; his grandchildren, C. J. Pyne (Genesis Robinson), Jarrett Womack (Destiney Bailey), Preston Womack (Laura Beth Smith), Paige Womack (Cody Brandenburg), William Shead and Audrey Shead; and his great grandchildren, Axton Pyne and Billie Womack. He is also survived by his wife who was the love of his life for 35 years, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to his 3 favorite foundations: St. Jude's Children's Hospital, The Lakota Indian Foundation, or Best Friend Animal Sanctuary.
