She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Pickens; and her parents, James Auldon and Cora Olivia Chadwick Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Tony Pickens of Conyers, GA, Deborah Barnett (David Barnett) of Powder Springs, GA, Phyllis Slate (Barney Liebman) of Canton, GA and Terry Pickens (Amy Pickens) of Conyers, GA.. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Corinth Baptist Church Clothes Closet Ministry or Alzheimer's Association at ACT.ALZ.ORG. in honor of her lifelong commitment to serving others.
