She is survived by: her husband Gennie Golson; her daughters, Pamela Morris James (Ty James) and Shonda Davis; her siblings, Patricia Bryant (James Bryant), Anita Miller (Terry Edwards) and Nathaniel Miller; and her grandchildren, Sumer James, Tyler Beth James and Hiram Woody.
