He is survived by: his wife Linda Cherry (Pearson) of Bremen; his son Russell Scott Cherry; his daughter-in-law Mae Cherry of Marietta; his stepchildren, Dewayne Scott Long (Barbara Long) of Cedartown and Brandy Pearson of Melbourne, Florida; his brother John Stephen Cherry; his sister-in-law Barbara Cherry of Rosemont, Ohio; his caregivers, Mike Pearson of Bremen and Debbie Dills of Bremen; his grandson Shawnn Bigley of Florida; and his great grandchild Mellissa Gamel of Bremen.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Master Gunnery Sergeant Mark Eric Cherry, can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Kidney Fund.
