He was predeceased by: his father Martin Van Buren; his wife Annie Faye Chambers; his granddaughter Macy; his siblings, Jeanette, David, Charlotte, Maxine, Margaret and Joe; and his wife Eveline.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Ruth, Barbara Kay (Steve), Donna Helene (Rob), Richard Terrell, Jr. (Melinda) and Becky (Gregg); his stepdaughter Barbie (David); his grandchildren, Lydia, Heather, Drew (Ely), Josh and Maddie; his great grandchildren, Ally, Micah and Breckyn; and his siblings, Van (Judy), Imogene, Martha, Jerry (Sandra), Danny and Betty. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
