He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Fincher Smith; his children, Lorraine Guitard (Jim) of Cumming and Larry David Smith (Senta) of Madison, Alabama; his son-in-law Jimmy Segars of Newnan, Georgia; his sisters, Ann Hammond (Chris) of Savannah, Georgia and Janis Barolet of Savannah, Georgia; his grandchildren, Patty, Brian, Jason (Ashley), Colton, Amanda, David (Brooke) and Sam (Summer); his great grandchildren, Brittanie, Bentley, Braden, Noah, Luna and Panda; his sisters-in-law, Linda Bearden and Elaine Wilson; Anthony, Lisa Reese, Jim, Vickie Persons, Cindy, Chad Bell and Sally Head. He is also survived by twenty eight nieces and nephews.
