She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cobb and Beanie Hart Cobb; her husband James Mitchell, Jr.; and her siblings, Laverne McLendon, Margie Kirksey, Jewel Worsley and John Cobb.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Gary Shierling), Susan Brock, Denise (Ricky Cutts), Gail (Jerry Tack) and Lisa (Thom DaSilva); her grandchildren, Zach, Amanda, Cannon, Jenna, Sloan, Amber, Tyler, Leanna, Kaylee, Kaleb, Shana, Pete, Sara, Jacob, Aaron and Erin; and her sisters, Geneva Roland and Janie Hinson. She is also survived by her thirteen great-grandchildren.
