He was predeceased by: his parents, Darlene Plunkett and Raymond Mathis, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Pamela B. Mathis; his stepson Lucas Sandifer (Lindsey); his granddaughter Grace; his brother Ruben Mathis (Tessa); and his nephews, Charlie and Adron.
