She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Lassiter and Viola Gay Lassiter; her husband Gerald Franklin Phillips; and her daughter Janet Salter Peters. She is survived by: her children, Myra Godwin (Joel) of Valdosta, Don L. Salter of Mobile, John Allen Salter of Page, Arizona and Darrell Wayne Salter (Shelley) of Albany; her brother Ellis; her sister-in-law Mary Jane Lassiter of Jesup; and her sisters, Myrtice Bennett of Tifton and Betty Cox of Omega. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
